Oil and energy

Cybersecurity for oil and energy operations

For oil fields, plants, offshore and transport, where the control network can’t be exposed.

What we see most

  • Exposed control systems

SCADA, PLCs and operator panels reachable from the internet or from the office network.

  • Contractors with remote access

Every contractor that connects to the network is one more door, and it’s not always clear who closed it.

  • Operations can’t afford downtime

An incident in the control network is measured in hours of lost production.

  • Sites far apart

Oil fields, plants and offices connected to each other, each with its own access.

How we help

Frequently asked questions

Do you work at oil fields outside Tierra del Fuego?

Yes. In Tierra del Fuego we go to the site; in the rest of Argentina we combine site visits and remote work.

Which industrial protocols do you review?

We assess the exposure of protocols such as Modbus, OPC UA and DNP3, how operator panels are protected and the incident response plan.

Do we have to stop operations?

No. Everything is coordinated with operations so production keeps running.
